Len’s Mill Store in Port Dover, the first of Len's 10 Southern Ontario locations, opened its doors for business in 1946. The original business began as Norfolk Knitters in 1921, manufacturing children's sleepwear and a variety of other under garments. The original building is now the Port Dover Animal Hospital. Manufacturing continued at the present location until the retail aspect of the company gained popularity. It then became Len's Mill Store named after the owner Len Menary. As times changed the retail aspect grew to its present site which encompasses 30,000 square feet in two seperate huge warehouses. Port Dover is proud to be the First Len's Mill Store!
