Qualifications
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Positive attitude
  • Some heavy lifting required
  • Excellent people skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Part time unless stated otherwise
  • Fabrics Associates: knowledge of fabric types, sewing experience and/or knitting or crochet experience a strong asset
  • Cashiers: previous cashier experience a strong asset
  • Sales Associates: cash and fabrics/yarn experience a strong asset
  • Stock person: heavy lifting required regularly

Administrative positions


Position: Accounting & Administrative Staff
Location: Head office, 50 Groh Ave, Cambridge
Details

  • Part time hours (20+ per week)
  • Flexible weekday hours (Monday mandatory, other hours flexible, no weekends)
  • Accounting education and/or experience required
  • Computer knowledge mandatory. Must be familiar with Excel, email, etc.
  • Organized, professional, have the ability to work as a team and independently, attention to detail
  • Must work diligently, be reliable, hardworking and have great communication skills
Duties will include
  • Various accounting duties - payroll, accounts payable, work in Excel
  • General office duties
    • Benefits administration
    • Data processing
    • Other administrative tasks as necessary
